Routt County, Colorado reaffirmed its ban on short-term rentals which impacts property owners near Steamboat Springs, Clark, Oak Creek, and other popular vacation spots. Areas such as the Tree Haus neighborhood on the western side of Steamboat Springs are outside of the city limits and thus subject to the ban.

It’s unclear how Routt County plans to enforce the ban but according the article but according to County Commissioner Doug Monger, they will be taking a proactive approach to shutting down illegal short-term rentals in the county.
